Cards

To apply for a library
card, bring identification showing your relevant home or work address,
as outlined below, to the library. There is no age restriction for
a card. |

Any person who lives,
works, attends school, or pays taxes in the Borough of Bernardsville
shall have the privilege of using the library according to policies
set by the Board. |

Program-related memberships
for students participating in ongoing programs will be granted at
no charge for three months. Other persons may become library members
by purchasing a nonresident card. |

The library has
reciprocal borrowing (interchange of privileges) agreements with
Bernards Township, Bedminster, Far Hills, Mendham Borough, Mendham
Township, Morristown/Morris Township and the towns in the Raritan
Valley Federation. Any person who lives or works in these
municipalities may borrow Bernardsville Public Library materials.
It is not necessary for a person to have a home library card before
issuing a Bernardsville card. Bernardsville cards are also honored
in their libraries. |
