Tech Update: Working in the Cloud

You do not have to have expensive software to work on your computer anymore! As a matter of fact, you no longer need to have programs loaded on your personal PC in order to use them. Google and Microsoft, as well as a host of other popular names, have now made office and graphical programs available to you online. Most have free options requiring only a simple registration, and many have a good deal of cloud storage for the files you are working on. Premium online versions are available, but not necessary to do all the things you want to on your own PC.

The only prerequisite is an Internet connection. Then, you can open your files from any computer in the world and continue working where you left off.  Join us to learn about these wonderful options and even try them out.  Students receive a take-home URL for the downloadable presentation to review and use after class. Free. This is a hands-on class and advance sign-up is required as space is limited.
