Directed by Robert Wise and Jerome Robbins with Bernstein’s score and Stephen Sondheim’s lyrics, this film remains perhaps the most iconic of all the Shakespeare adaptations to the screen. It won ten Academy Awards! Stay afterwards for a short discussion of the film. Our Friday afternoon movie series is funded by gifts to the Friends of the Bernardsville Library. Free.
