Grow Your Own Food, Organically

Date: May 23, 2013
Time: 7:00 PM
Location: Bernardsville Public Library

peasLearn tips and tricks of planting and harvesting organically, connecting with nature and enjoying the beauty and abundance created in your own backyard or in a plot in the Bernardsville Community Garden. In this program, Wanda Knapik, director of the Community Garden and owner of My Local Garden, will discuss how to grow organic vegetables, herbs, fruits, nuts, and berries. Using organic practices can grow healthier, more nutrient dense food that tastes better than anything in the store. If trees blew down during Superstorm Sandy, you can now plant fruit trees or a vegetable garden in that new sunny spot in your yard! Free. Advance registration is requested.
