Julie Maloney of Women Reading Aloud will conduct an up close and personal interview with the acclaimed New York Times bestselling author Ann Hood. Her newest novel, The Book That Matters Most, came out in August. It’s a book that is at once a riveting page-turner and a deeply affecting emotional journey. Ms. Hood is also the author of The Knitting Circle, The Red Thread, The Obituary Writer, and An Italian Wife, among other works. The winner of many writing awards, she is the recipient of two Pushcart Prizes, a Best American Travel Writing Award, and the Paul Bowles Prize for Short Fiction.
