Who
better to tell the Library what really interests teenagers than
teens themselves? That's why Bernardsville Library relies on the
Teen Advisory Council (TAC), a group of young adults who volunteer
to help our Youth Services Librarian.
You
can make a difference!
TAC
meets once a month to advise, supervise, promote and initiate
the wide variety of programs offered at the Library all year long.
Guest speakers are invited, movies are shown, books are discussed-all
with input and direction from the teens on the Advisory Council.
The one constant is the philosophy: you can make a difference!
TAC
members also have the opportunity to influence how the Library's
collection grows. They help select new library materials such
as books, computer software, magazines, and music CDs.
