Paintings by Joanne Bodnar
On view: January 3-30, 2019
Joanne Smith Bodnar is a watercolor and pastel artist. Traditional and creative whimsical pieces make up most of her painting subject matter. She has been a painter and teacher for over 35 years. Design and color are strong components of her work. Music, a play on words and finding unusual objects for subject matter influence the compositions of her paintings. Many of her paintings are inspired from just one object, from which she proceeds to develop an entire painting. She has exhibited extensively in juried shows, won numerous awards and has paintings in several corporate and many private collections.
Our new workshop series led by Andrea Mastrobattista will center on topics to help people on healing journeys, whether they be physical, psychological, emotional, or any combination of those three. Topics will include: family, friends, giving and receiving, care for caregivers, priorities, returning to your optimum health and more. Andrea will draw on the lessons she learned throughout her own healing journey in 2018 and how she discovered what is truly most important in her life. Free. Advance sign-up is requested.
