Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that is practiced sitting on a chair or standing using a chair for support. The postures are adaptations of traditional yoga poses which offer increased strength, flexibility, body and breath awareness and overall vitality. This chair yoga class is open to everyone, and no prior yoga experience is needed. The schedule for this six-week session is Wednesdays, February 20 – March 27. The total cost for the session is $35.00. This program is a partnership of Bernardsville Library and Bernardsville Recreation. What kind of books do you like to read? Do you especially enjoy a certain type, but you’re tired of online conversations about books? If so, come to the Library to talk to people who love to read what you love to read. During the month of February, library staff members will lead conversations about Sci Fi, Romance, Cookbooks and Mysteries–each in one afternoon and one evening session. This week the focus will be on cookbooks on Wednesday, February 20 at 2:00 pm and Thursday, February 21 at 7:30 pm. Bring a list of your favorite titles.
