Kick-Off Poetry Month

March 29, 2021 // Filed under Featured Posts

Wednesday, April 7 from 11:00-11:45 am, Ages 4 years-adult
Turn the library patio into a poetry garden with your own unique poetry leaves. Inspired by Shel Silverstein’s Poet Trees, children and adults will learn how to write simple poems that will adorn the trees on the library’s patio. Join us for this virtual program on Wednesday, April 7 at 11:00 am. Blank “Poet Tree” leaves will be available in the library lobby from Monday April 5 through Friday, April 23. Finished leaves can be dropped off at the library and will be laminated and hung from the trees on the patio throughout April.

This program is virtual via Zoom. Registration is required so that we may send you the Zoom link 4-48 hours before the scheduled start time. Click here to register.
