March 25, 2019 // Filed under Blog

Join us on Wednesday, April 10 at 7:00 pm for a humorous look at the common pitfalls of getting organized. Got clutter? If you have too much stuff and not enough time to go through it all, this is the class for you! Enjoy a few laughs while making a plan, finding the time, getting motivated, and make it happen without getting overwhelmed. Stop saying someday; get organized today!

Organizing Humorist™ and bestselling author Jamie Novak travels between her offices in New Jersey and California presenting programs on how to de-stress and de-clutter. She’s been seen on QVC, HGTV, Better TV, and she writes for Reader’s Digest online. When not on the road, Ms. Novak is searching for a cure to her addiction to clipping recipes she never prepares.

Using the ‘10 & 10’ approach, Ms. Novak, author of “Keep This Toss That,” will help listeners clear the clutter from their minds and home. This approach helps you get and stay organized in manageable bites rather than taking an overwhelming all-or-nothing approach. ‘Ten and ten’ refers to top ten to-dos, dividing jobs into ten tiny tasks, and allowing ten minutes to accomplish a task.  “Little wins are motivating,” she says, “Before you know it, your home will be organized and running smoothly—and so will your life!”

There is no charge to attend the program, but advance sign-up is requested.  Click here to sign up. or call the library at 908-766-0118 to sign up.
