Local Author: Vikki Young

Join author and Bernardsville resident, Vikki Young for a reading of her timely and relevant children’s book, A Girl of Color. With a positive message of inclusion for people of all colors, Young’s book speaks to children of all ages, providing a starting point for a conversation about celebrating differences. Following the reading, Young will discuss the book and her impetus for writing it.

Outdoor Safari (In-Person)

Outdoor Safari (In-Person)

Put on your imagination hats and join us for a safari adventure. Make binoculars and use them to discover wild (stuffed) animals hidden throughout the library grounds. Create wild animal faces using sand art and make and eat a stampede snack….you may even get a jungle treat to take home! All activities will be held outdoors on library grounds. Social distancing and masks will be required in compliance with state, local, and library policies.
