Ricotta Cheese Making & More

Professional chef Juli Lederhaus will teach you to turn simple ingredients into restaurant-worthy dishes. Learn to make ricotta cheese and then create delicious dishes. The program includes a virtual garden tour where you will learn about culinary herbs and edible flowers. Juli will also share recipes, offer wine pairings, and teach you what you can do with whey which is a byproduct of cheesemaking.

Multiple people per household may participate in this program; however, they must all share a screen. To fully enjoy the experience, we recommend that each participant purchase the materials kit.

This is a virtual program delivered via Zoom is open to adults and teens ages 12 and older with an adult present. Registration is required so that we may send the Zoom link and have an accurate count for the materials kits. Registration closes on Sunday, April 11 at 10:00 pm or before if all slots are filled. Materials may be picked up at the library starting on Tuesday, April 13 until the class on April 14. The $5.00 materials fee per kit is payable by cash or check at the time the kit is picked up.
